What Sets VISI Apart
Purpose-Built for Toolmakers
VISI isn't general-purpose CAD adapted for molds. It was built from the ground up for mold, die, and tool design — every command serves the toolmaking workflow.
Hybrid Solid & Surface Modelling
Solids and surfaces in one model tree. Split cores and cavities on imperfect customer geometry, rebuild damaged faces, and create parting surfaces that solid-only modellers struggle with.
Works With Any CAD Data
Customer models arrive in every format. VISI opens native CATIA, NX, Creo and SOLIDWORKS files alongside Parasolid, IGES and STEP, and heals the geometry on import so you can start designing immediately.
Tooling Libraries & Documentation
Catalogue mold bases and standard components from the major suppliers, with automatic bills of material and 2D detail drawings generated from the 3D tool assembly.

Frequently Asked Questions
VISI is purpose-built for toolmakers, mold designers, and die designers. If your work involves plastic injection molds, progressive dies, press tools, or similar tooling, VISI gives you a dedicated design environment rather than a general-purpose CAD system.
VISI reads native CATIA, NX, Creo and SOLIDWORKS files as well as Parasolid, IGES, STEP and DXF. Imported geometry is healed automatically, so imperfect or non-watertight customer models can be worked on without a lengthy cleanup stage.
Yes. VISI ships with catalogues of mold bases and standard components from the major suppliers. Selected components drop into the tool assembly with the correct pockets and clearances, and the bill of materials updates as the design changes.
VISI pricing depends on the modules you need (mold design, die design, modelling). Contact us for India-specific pricing — we provide quotes within 48 hours.
General-purpose CAD can model a mold, but VISI automates the tooling-specific work: core and cavity splitting, parting surface creation, strip layout, standard component catalogues, and the drawings and BOM that go with them. For a tool room, that is the difference between modelling a mold and designing one.
Yes. Cadspro provides VISI training at our Bangalore training center and on-site at your facility. We offer separate tracks for mold design and die design.
